The Attorney General at the Court of Cassation has, in a letter, ordered the prosecutor of the Kinshasa-Matete district to initiate legal proceedings against Cardinal Fridolin Ambongo, Archbishop of Kinshasa. This action targets his statements made during the Easter mass, as well as his critical stances on the political and security management of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
