FAQ´s

Frequently Asked Questions:

Who makes Catholic Radar?

It is created by a group of people with interdisciplinary training in various fields, working altruistically, all united by a great love for the Catholic Church.

We are believers with different ecclesial sensitivities.

What is Catholic Radar?

Those of us who make Catholic Radar possible seek to provide a useful service to those interested in following religious news.

We believe that in today’s times, it is necessary to have up-to-date and diverse information about what is happening and being published about the Church in the world.

We select credible writings about the Church, both for and against: we offer news from major agencies and media outlets, as well as local sources that are less known but sometimes important because they are close to the news.

Who is Catholic Radar aimed at?

  • Journalists specializing in the religious field.
  • Diplomatic personnel from the Holy See or other countries assigned to embassies at the Vatican.
  • Vatican Curia staff.
  • Press officers of religious institutions.
  • Anyone who wants to have the broadest possible perspective on the situation of the Church.

How do we work at Catholic Radar?

Every day, we scan articles from 200 publications and select those we consider most relevant to our readers. We are happy to receive suggestions and comments about the news and the website at our email: info@catholicradar.com.

In what languages is Catholic Radar published?

We publish articles mainly in four languages: English, Italian, French, and Spanish. For articles in other languages, we translate into English in the news presentation.

You can use Google Translate to read the news in another language, but since there are often articles in various languages on the main page, browsers struggle to revert to the original text of each article. Therefore, it may be more useful to translate the articles within each piece of news, as it does not affect the rest of the articles.

How is Catholic Radar financed?

Catholic Radar has no subscription or advertising income. It is an altruistic project.

Paid Articles

We are happy to offer paid articles from different media outlets. Those who wish to reproduce some of their articles, please write to info@catholicradar.com
