A clear morning in Rome, with 17 degrees Celsius and a few gusts of wind, which caused the Pope to lose his skullcap during the reading of the catechesis.

The Pope looked well during the audience and read the text without difficulty, although his voice was a little affected, as usual.

The first two quadrants of chairs were full. The next two were more or less half full.

The catechesis was on the virtue of fortitude. It will be available in the Bolletino at the end of the morning.

The Pope expressed his solidarity with the people of Kazakhstan affected by the floods, which have caused the evacuation of more than 100,000 people. He also mentioned the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine.
